I am Jane Golestani, a photographer. I work in different genres of photography: ‘Advertising, Commercial and Product,’ ‘Fine art and Narrative,’ and ‘Documentary.’

Advertising, commercial and product photography all serve different purposes. Advertising photos are narrative driven, telling a story to engage the audience. Commercial photos also use narrative, but focus primarily on presenting products in an attractive way. Product photos, on the other hand, are straightforward images designed to showcase the products themselves. Contact me for photography services; from improving your social media presence to enhancing your website or advertising campaigns, I am here to make you shine.

Fine Art Photography represents my free expression as an artist. From conceptual photos, still life or people, to film adapted photos where one photo represents the interpretive image of the entire film. I invented the approach of film-adapted photos, in which I present a photo that could be an interpretive essence of the whole film. It can be extended to other phenomena than just films, which is what I am working on. Contact me for collaborative projects.

I also capture the documentary clichés, from street moments to project-based photos like Bicycles, and ... Street photography, as part of documentary photography, documents the streets by capturing spontaneous moments, also called candid. This practice requires a high level of immersion in the present, also showing that when a moment is frozen, it transforms into something memorable and sometimes new. Routine scenes are often filled with candid yet cinematic moments. As for other documentary-based projects, I have a few in the pipeline that I will reveal in the future.
